I have a larger website featuring my work, but this site is just a blog. Slide On The Ice is a collections of my musings, random thoughts and hopefully, occasionally something good.
Why “Slide on the Ice?” Most people are probably not as big M*A*S*H fans as I am (I wrote a 30+ page paper on it at GW) but “Slide on the Ice” is a quip from a minor (yet very important) character, Dr. Sidney Friedman who reminds the 4077th in one of his first and his final line on the show to step back, and not take themselves too seriously all the time.
“Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice – pull down your pants and slide on the ice.”

So this site, in that vein is a reminder not to take ourselves too seriously all the time. That is what JoshuaIAltman.com is for.
